What to write about
- Corrections — wrong Unicode hex, wrong HTML entity, mislabeled name, or a symbol that renders incorrectly. Send the page URL and what you'd expect to see.
- Missing symbols — a character you expected to find but didn't. Send the symbol itself or its U+ code point.
- New categories — suggestions for groupings that would be useful as their own page.
- Accessibility issues — if a symbol page or tool isn't usable with your assistive technology, please describe the problem and the device you're using.
- Privacy and data requests — access, deletion, or other rights described in the privacy policy. Send these to the privacy address above.
What this address is not for
- Bulk link or guest-post requests — these are not accepted.
- Asking for a symbol to be removed because you don't like it. Unicode characters are part of an open standard; the catalog reflects the standard.
- Technical support for software that produced an unexpected character — the site is a reference, not a help desk for editors, browsers, or operating systems. The Unicode converter can help you identify a code point if that is the question.
Before getting in touch
Many questions are answered by the symbol's own page or by one of the categories listed in the footer. The site search on the home page covers names and keywords for every entry in the catalog.
